Aamir Khan with Taare Zaameen Par at L’ilChamps!

8 December 2007 (Sawf News) – Aamir Khan appeared as a celebrity guest on Zee SaReGaMaPA L’il Champs 2007, Saturday, December 08 to promote his new children oriented film Taare Zameen Par.

The ever-elusive Aamir Khan who refuses to grace even the biggest award functions of the film fraternity delighted his fans recently when he descended on the sets of Zee’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. The actor was there to promote his new movie Taare Zameen Par which revolves around children, and L’il Champs, the biggest talent hunt show for young kids proved to be the ideal platform. In true-blue Aamir style, the perfectionist arrived for the shoot a good twenty minutes ahead of time.

The show opened with a medley of Amir’s song where all the Lil Champs were dressed like the Lagaan team, and finally sang the title track of Taare Zameen Par along with Amir and Darsheel (the child actor in the movie). Quite contrary to his otherwise serious image, Aamir was sporting enough to break into the ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ gig with li’l Vasundhara .Touched by the impressive performances of his own songs by the little ones, Aamir was full of praise and encouragement for them.
